State of the Arts in Brevard County

The Brevard Cultural Alliance, FLORIDA TODAY, and Carpe Diem Consultants have undertaken a year long research project to identify the issues and opportunities with arts related activities in Brevard County. The first survey focused on overall satisfaction with the arts and planned attendance.

Orlando Magic: Tax Dollars for New Arena?

Carpe Diem Consultants conducted research with the residents of Orange County, Florida to determine their willingness to fund renovation of the existing arena or build a new one for the use by the Orlando Magic.  This has become an issue because of the persistent rumors that the Magic's ownership has threatened to move the Magic to another city if they do not get what they want.

Living in Brevard County: Is it Really Lame for Everyone?

FLORIDA TODAY recently published an article stating that the county’s youth think that Brevard County is a “lame” place to live. A review of the data for respondents 40 and younger shows that this is not necessarily true. While the scores for single people are relatively low, married respondents report acceptable satisfaction levels.
