Ease
No compelling differences exist among segments on transportation infrastructure, convenience, ease of traveling to places outside the county, and traveling to fun activities. All respondents note a need for the county to improve planning to ensure that growth does not outstrip the infrastructure required to support it and that care be taken to ensure that rampant condo development does not cut residents off from the beaches and greenways in the county.

- Manage growth so it does not impair infrastructure. Traffic is a mess in most parts of the county and growth is unimpeded and out of control. Declare a moratorium on growth, especially in the commercial area, until infrastructure can catch up. There are many vacant buildings that can be used, however, instead of promoting using them, more natural areas are destroyed to build new, unneeded buildings.
- Don't turn Brevard County into the Dallas of the 80's. Please be proactive and not reactive. Roads like Wickham and 192 are in dire need of expansion and alternative routes need to be developed. The county needs more access to I-95, and 95 needs to be expanded to at least 6 lanes. Many old country roads are now home to countless subdivisions and haven't been expanded to bring them up to the task.
- Nothing. I have heard people complain here at work about the traffic on the streets. Something tells me that those people have never lived outside of this area.
- Brevard County could greatly benefit from expanded public transportation, especially to and from Orlando. In addition MLB needs more low cost air carriers to compete with Delta and increase direct flight travel options to places other than Atlanta.
- Time the lights during "rush hour" to keep the flow of traffic up. Time the lights so that if one goes the speed limit, they will be able to catch most lights green.
